Marking a Milestone

Quick Recap
Anniversary Video
Think freely. Act ethically. Live decisively. These words embody the spirit that the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University was built upon. We jumped at the chance to help tell their story—one hundred and fifty years in the making.

We worked closely with the team at A&S to realize their unique vision for the video that would serve as a central piece in their year long sesquicentennial celebration. We enlisted the help of our trusted MoGraph partner Matt Petrocci to bring the vision to life through motion, and were thrilled to collaborate with Michelle Sundholm who graced the piece with her beautiful voice.

In choosing a partner to produce a 150th commemorative video, we knew we needed someone flexible who could balance high production values with a tight budget and timeline. Adjacent was the obvious choice due to their client-centric attitude and commitment to realizing our very specific vision.

Our mission was to weave together the rich history of the College of Arts & Sciences, which is housed in the iconic Hall of Languages building—the first ever built on the Syracuse University campus—and the contemporary mission of creating “citizens of the world.” The visuals and overall tone of the piece needed to convey the idea that an A&S education creates empowered, passionate individuals who are making the world we live in more healthy, hopeful, and human.

The video turned out great, and is serving as the centerpiece of our sesquicentennial celebration.
